Blood Volume Pulse - BVP

The BVP sensor is used for the measurement of the contraction and the dilation of blood vessels. By this measurement, the person can monitor the mobility of vascular which is controlled by the sympathetic nervous system. It can also give us additional diagnostic data about the function of the cardiovascular system. The arousal of the sympathetic nervous system causes constriction of blood vessels and affects the blood flow and the perfusion of the limbs. These changes are perceived by the BVP sensor which records them and transfers to the screen. Watching the signals the person can control the arousal of the sympathetic nervous system and the vascular function.
The photoplethysmograph BVP used to treat headaches, Raynaud's syndrome, to improve blood circulation, to train the management of stress, to control of the cardiac and the vascular function, etc
